I live within the state of nature. Taxation does not exist here, which is nice I suppose. Life is a bit nasty, brutish and short though...

nah, i disagree. take championship fishermen. they obviously got something down. repeat winners kinda prove it.

fishing is more than throwing your bait in the water. there's technique, know how, that kinda stuff. line colour and test, the proper riggings, weights, hooks, all that crap.

learning fishes habits, locations when and where, and all that turns just getting luck into actually doing well at it. outside the box it is kinda weird, i mean anyone can get lucky but i think i got a pretty good understanding of the whole thing. years and years of learning.

my first real job was a commercial fisherman so its kinda in my blood.

plus i generally fish about 4 times a week. before i moved from the coast, i literally fished almost daily.

1. It's still relatively cool, but is very gradually warming up.

2. One of the nice thing (probably the only good thing) about living where it's borderline impossible to find a job is no taxes this year.

3. I happen to almost always be smarter, more dedicated, harder working, have more wisdom, and be a more decent person then people more successful than me. (Unfortunately none of those things help pay the bills or magically have food appear that I can eat.)

no, i don't pay tax, i'm on welfare but soon my earned income credit check of 3 grand that I "earned" by sitting on my ass all year should be coming in the mail so when I spend it on new clothes and shoes and jewery and video games and licor and cigs I suppose I will be paying sales tax on that.
