Postal Paranoiac
NOT on the list:

Superman v. Lois Lane: I Googled it but can't find it. An issue wherein SM gives his gal a necklace made of outerworldly elements, which it turns out cause Lois to turn into a mutant hulkish super-villainess! Hilarity ensues.

Doctor Strange versus God: I never before saw so many Biblical references in one non-denominational comic book before. THIS ISSUE had Doc and his main foe Mordo go on a journey of apocalyptic proportions to try and stop an entity from achieving godhood and changing the course of history.

Where the hell is the Spider-Man Clone Saga? That is the single storyline from Marvel that caused me to abandon ship. There are some on that list but I hate Clone Saga. It took the Ultimate line of comics to bring me back to Marvel. Even now I rarely if ever read anything out of the "616" universe. From what I hear the Brand New Day storyline is the new Clone Saga.

That really hurt the Spider-Man books. Spider-Man remains my 2nd fav hero, but alas he has been in some of the worst storylines ever. While, i did not read brand new Day, i know enough of it, to think WTF were they thinking?! :dunno:

Ironically Ultimate Spider-Man recently did a clone saga of their own but was actually pretty good. They learned from their mistakes with that one and they introduced Spider-Woman as a female clone of Peter Parker.

I don't know why people are so upset about the Clone Saga.

I liked them both, the original and the Ultimate version.

The Clone Saga started out okay but then it just turned into a huge retcon nightmare. So much so that Marvel had to fix it after the fan reaction. Ultimate Spider-Man did it way better. Ever since then I've been very wary of the big events that Marvel decides to do. Every now and then I'll jump on board like with Origin and Civil War but most times I steer clear of the "616" universe.

I doubt that retcons will ever stop in comics.

I like this cover from that series. :D

LOBO vs. WOLVERINE (Marvel vs. DC, 1996) :helpme:

While all the battles in the DC vs. Marvel crossover were appropriately bombastic, none promised to dampen fan Underoos as much as the clash between the companies' respective psycho-killers. Voted on by fans, they favored the popular mutant over the much stronger Czarnian, forcing the series’ creators to stage the brawl largely off-panel, with Lobo getting the worst of it. For shame, fandom. For shame…
