I've got to say that Taz has made TNA much more watchable for my tastes. Broadcasters make a difference and Don West's non-stop shouting about nothing bored me to tears. Taz is relaxed, clearly having a good time and is down-right goofy some of them time, which is loosening up Mike Tenay - definitely needed.

Now if they would get rid of Matt Morgan and get someone that could get Kurt Angle back to his higher quality of talking and story-telling , they'd have a really fun show.

Former WWE developmental wrestlers Dakota Darsow, Jon Cutler, Lupe Viscara, Kafu and Matt Walsh are also free to negotiate with any wrestling organization as all five up-and-comers were released from their respective contracts during the first week of June.

TNA should pick these guys up.

Big Update On Angelina Love's Future Inside Here.

It would appear that recently released TNA Knockout Angelina Love has plans to continue wrestling in the United States as she is being advertised to compete at a Live Pro Wrestling event on Sunday, October 25th at the Plattduetsche Park Resturant & Catering Hall on 1132 Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square, New York (Nassau County, Long Island).

Love will be going up against Brooke Carter and it is being advertised as her first match in New York since her departure from TNA.

Nice to see that they did more than the one outfit...that first one had me thinking Chyna for some reason. Otherwise...yum!

Oh, and it seems little Kurt has been acquitted of the suspended license and HGH charges. Now we have to wait to see what happens with protection from Abuse and the assault charge.pp

There's been no talk internally about Angelina Love returning since she was released. They have been trying to work things out behind the scenes though according to TNAWrestlingNews.com sources.

Breaking News: TNA Rehires Two Backstage Agents

TNA Wrestling has rehired Pat Kenney (aka Simon Diamond) and D'Lo Brown as backstage agents. Both men had served as agents in the past for TNA. They are both expected to start at this Sunday's "No Surrender" PPV in Orlando.

TNA cut B.G. James and Jim Cornette just a few days ago and both had been previously serving as agents in the company.

Jim Cornette Fired After Outburst w/ Vince Russo?

Jim Cornette's contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling was terminated after throwing one temper tantrum too many. Reportedly, he caused a major scene at the most recent iMPACT! television taping during an argument with head writer Vince Russo.

Cornette directed his anger toward the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion during a production meeting calling for more focus on Eric Young on television.

"Everyone was in a production meeting with Russo running down the show, but Cornette went nuts screaming "why are we pushing Eric Young?"," according to The Sun's source. "Russo reacted calmly and said it wasn't a big deal, but Cornette wouldn't let it go and kept screaming about it, really causing a scene. He just wouldn't stop. Even after the meeting broke, Cornette was walking around complaining to everyone who would listen."

I like Young. I'm a long time fan. he's a great heel, IMHO.

He's doing a good job, and has the right look, especially that shit-eating grin, but he looks like a low-rent Chris Jericho. That said, nice job at the PPV, with the refusal to fight Hernandez and then beating him down when it counted. And now poor Hernandez doesn't have to worry about that heavy ol' briefcase anymore.

The press release notes the following: "In a landmark arrangement, Wrestlicious LLC has agreed to release Lacey Von Erich from her exclusive contract 45 days prior to its' expiration. This move will allow Lacey to pursue an immediate roster position with TNA Entertainment. The third generation wrestler and actress made headlines by signing with the action/comedy television show “Wrestlicious” in mid 2008.

Under the Wrestlicious/TNA agreement, Lacey will continue to tape segments for Wrestlicious, and will appear as part of the ensemble cast in the series’ upcoming television episodes. She is expected to debut on TNA “Impact” this week."


I wouldn't be surprised if she joined The Beautiful People.

For those interested, last week's episode of ECW had 26 minutes and 36 seconds of actual wrestling.

By comparison, TNA's two-hour iMPACT! broadcast last Thursday had 31 minutes and 51 seconds of in-ring action.
