Lacey looks more like a babyface.
I doubt she could ever be the heel that Angelina Love can be.
Okay, did I really just tune out after seeing Abyss covered in blood, moaning "why, why?" Shouldn't a guy and a crowbar have been around someplace? Was this a figure skating thing? In all seriousness, terrible end to an otherwise good Impact! Loved the Daniels/Homicide/Joe three-way dance, loved seeing Daffney in that corset...wow!... Nice Knockouts Tag match despite the predictable Kong run-in and finish. Hernandez and Morgan were great but needed more time, and it looks like they're brewing a great World Elite/Mafia feud.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA made the decision to hire Lacey Von Erich strictly as a replacement for Angelina Love in "The Beautiful People" group. With the departure of Angelina Love from TNA, the group was in need of a third member, and despite her lack of in-ring experience, TNA decided to bring in Von Erich because physcially she fits the look of the group.
It's being said, however, that TNA is concerned with Von Erich's in-ring work, as she reportedly has less than 20 matches under her belt in the entirety of her pro wrestling career. Furthermore, she only lasted 4 months in WWE's developmental system before being let go, with most feeling she was inadequate in the ring.
Angelina Love, meanwhile, is still living in Tampa Bay, but she is attempting to sort out her Visa issues. Because TNA replaced her so quickly, it looks like they don't feel confident that Love will fix her problems anytime in the near future, so they're proceeding without her.
Another concern for TNA is Velvet Sky, who although has been a pro wrestler for quite sometime now, is still green in the ring. TNA feels that they cannot rely on her to get the job done as a wrestler, and is hoping that one of the three current members of The Beautiful People will step up as Love did in the past when it comes time to wrestle.

The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that TNA star Scott Steiner has been telling friends backstage in TNA that he does not plan to work for the company much longer. Steiner is very close friends with Jeff Jarrett, and since Jarrett's TNA future is on the fence, it seems as if Steiner feels like there's no reason for him to be in TNA if Jeff doesn't return sometime soon.
It's being said that Steiner had initially planned to retire at the age of 40, and that he was financially secure at that age which means he doesn't need the money now that he's 47 years old. Additonally, Steiner has been working through a number of nagging injuries for many years now, so it seems as if all things combined signal that he no longer needs to be working for TNA. A wrestler once said about Steiner, "If Scott has a decent, hard match where he takes five or ten bumps, he is feeling much more pain than theaverage beat up wrestler [and he feels it for up to] 24 hours after the match. […] His back is so bad, watching him go through a 12 step process to sit in a car seat is excruciating.”

just a quick question if someone out there dose not mind helping out ?? never seen the show tna i know of it and yeah maybe even seen a bit on and off. BUT was just flicking through the tv the other night and Kurt angle was on but i sure it did not look like him. want the F**k has he been ill or has he been replaced with a look-a-like. remember he from wwf or e whatever wrestling has never realy been my thing. but this dude look wrong sure the tat is still on the shoulder and he moved like him but something just seemed off like that black mancho man imposter !!

You're not the only one! My friend came round to watch TNA at mine and he's WWE through and through so he rarely watches TNA, and his words on seeing Kurt Angle were "WTF, has Kurt Angle got AIDS or something?"

Yeah it's the same guy. He's just been doing a lot of drugs and refuses to get help. It's the main reason he was fired from WWE.
starting to like this TNA think i maybe hooked can't belive that i have missed so much it seem to me like they have taken the best from WWE and the old ECW and wrapped it around they own TNA stars and made one hell of a show !! well i for one a a fan now and can't wait for some more live shows. what the next big event and when is it ?

The Miami Herald recently conducted an interview with the latest Knockout to debut with TNA, Lacey Von Erich. The following are excerpts from the interview:
On TNA vs WWE: "TNA is completely different than WWE. The atmosphere and the people are different. I think it's really competitive in WWE where there is one blonde and then another blonde. There is just so much cattiness, and rumors fly. Candice Michelle told me that. She just got out. A couple of the girls who got out of WWE were telling me that. So I was going into TNA thinking there was going to be so much drama, and it was going to be terrible."
On Arriving in TNA: "I get there, and they are the most incredible girls ever. We go have beers after the shows. ODB is awesome. I already knew Awesome Kong who is amazing. I also feel you get to shine. They want you to wrestle good there. It's not that WWE doesn't want you to wrestle well, but you don't feel like you can wrestle to your potential. In TNA, they want you to do your maximum potential."
On Replacing Angelina Love: "I feel like it was made for me, and she [Angelina] wasn't a good fit for it in my opinion. I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. AngeLina Is gone,' but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I'm supposed to. TNA told me this role was made for me, and I feel the same way. So when I met the other members, Velvet and Madison, they are awesome. . . When I got there, we all just felt like we were one group, and the band was completed. . .I've never met Angelina before in my life. After what some people have said, I don't know if I want to. I just feel like we can all be a group together and shine together, so I'm excited about that."

PWTorch.com is reporting that despite visiting friends backstage at TNA's last taping, Angelina Love was not very popular amongst most of the talents in TNA.
We reported before that The Miami Herald ran an interview with Lacey Von Erich, and she alluded to Angelina Love having a bad backstage reputation and that no one in the locker room seems to miss her now that she's gone.

Report: Dixie Carter Not High On Putting Stock Into Lashley

PWTorch.com is reporting that although TNA President Dixie Carter was initially very high on Bobby Lashley, her interest in pushing him as a main event player has diminished. Carter is currently pushing for a youth movement in TNA, and wants to focus the company around the upcoming pushes of AJ Styles, Hernandez and Matt Morgan.
While Bobby Lashley is still considered useful to TNA, Dixie Carter doesn't want to give him too much of a push as his MMA career will be an obvious distraction for Lashley down the line. Carter and TNA feel that they would rather focus the company around wrestlers who are full-time with TNA as opposed to talent who take frequent breaks to pursue other interests.

Prowrestling.net is reporting that there is internal heat on Lacey Von Erich for what appeared to be shoot comments made towards Angelina Love in a recent Miami Herald interview. We reported earlier that Lacey Von Erich commented on Angelina Love by saying that "[Angelina] wasn't a good fit for it in my opinion. I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. AngeLina Is gone,' but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I'm supposed to."
According to the report, when TNA officials got wind of Von Erich's comments, they ordered her to apologize to Angelina Love and made it clear that they were unhappy with Von Erich's actions.
