TNA Asks Lacey Von Erich To Apologize For Love Remarks

Prowrestling.net is reporting that there is internal heat on Lacey Von Erich for what appeared to be shoot comments made towards Angelina Love in a recent Miami Herald interview. We reported earlier that Lacey Von Erich commented on Angelina Love by saying that "[Angelina] wasn't a good fit for it in my opinion. I thought that everybody was going to be, `Oh no. AngeLina Is gone,' but not one person said that. Nobody really missed her that much. I feel like I can fill the shoes that I'm supposed to."

According to the report, when TNA officials got wind of Von Erich's comments, they ordered her to apologize to Angelina Love and made it clear that they were unhappy with Von Erich's actions.


Lacey Von Erich Tweets on Angelina Love; Calls Her "Amazing"

In what appears to be a change of attitude, or a move demanded by TNA, Lacey Von Erich has posted the following Tweet on her Twitter account: “I hope everyone enjoyed the show last night! Angelina Love was amazing in the beautiful people and I hope I do it justice! P.S. Don’t believe rumors! I think Angelina will be missed in TNA and hope we can work together someday!”

At this point, it could be speculated that Von Erich made her initial comments towards Love in the Miami Herald interview as a work, and she was playing her Beautiful People character, however, most wrestlers shoot during interviews with The Herald, so it remains unclear whether or not Von Erich really meant what she initially said.

I think Lacey was just giving her true opinion in the beginning, and it's a shame that she got in trouble just for saying what she thought.

I think Lacey was just giving her true opinion in the beginning, and it's a shame that she got in trouble just for saying what she thought.

Report: 'Mr. Kennedy' Blaming Randy Orton Privately

Future TNA star Ken Anderson (former WWE star Mr. Kennedy) has continued to privately blame Randy Orton for his release from WWE. Anderson had actually hinted this in some recent interviews, but has never fully come out and said it.

It should be noted that both Anderson and Orton were thought of by many wrestlers as being good friends and he was said to be very unhappy about the whole situation since his wife and Orton's wife were good friends as well. Many people close to the situation didn't believe Orton had anything to do with Anderson's firing, although the timeline of events seem to match up. This includes Kennedy dropping Orton on his bad shoulder during his first match back on Raw and Orton giving Anderson a big talk backstage afterwards that everyone was aware of. Then, a few days later, Anderson was released by the company.

This is of course the timeline that Anderson has been spelling out and discussing in interviews and why he feels this to be the case. Anderson did make it clear that Triple H often criticized his promos for being "too comedic for a main event" (which many find interesting considering Triple H's involvement with DX). One thing that is clear is that he had some major heat on him within WWE over the public interviews about steroids (which he later tested positive for) and the general feeling is that the situation with Orton was the last straw of sorts. Plus, keep in mind when all of this went down during the "Denver Dabacle" week in what many described as a time where a lot of decisions made weren't that rational.

Former Diva Blasts Lacey Von Erich - 'Man, She Sucks!'

On her Facebook account, former WWE Diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch had some rather harsh things to say regarding Lacey Von Erich's "less than stellar" TNA debut last week. Many online have criticized the clothesline she delivered to Taylor Wilde upon jumping the ring.

Sytch's original status update is as follows: "Tamara Lynn Sytch wants to know who else thought Lacey Von Erich's TNA debut was less than stellar?? Man, she sucks!"

Here are further comments she made regarding the TNA newcomer under her status update:

Tamara Lynn Sytch: "i mean, shes so bad, WWE fired her from developmental after 4 months... I thought TNA prided themselves on girls who could WORK!"

Booker T Likely Finished With TNA, Headed To WWE!

TNA star Booker T will likely be finished with TNA after his contract expires which is reportedly sometime in November. The belief right now is that Booker is unhappy with the company, and he also has a lot of backstage heat on him within TNA management because of recent behavior.

Most recently, Booker refused to put over Matt Morgan at the last set of Impact tapings, and he had a meeting just the day before with TNA President Dixie Carter where the two reportedly worked out some of the issues both sides were having with each other. Apparently that meeting did little to no good as Booker went ahead and refused to job to Morgan.

Additionally, Booker's behavior on the last TNA overseas tour was described as "disruptive," and he even refused to work a tag team match with Scott Steiner, as we reported, when the fans began to throw chairs into the ring. Booker was reportedly telling those backstage in TNA that he has plans to return to WWE, and always has that option available which he claims he most likely will exercise.

Concerning the Matt Morgan issue, there is apparently no heat between him and Booker T, it was more a matter of Booker feeling that it was a creative mistake for him to lose to Morgan on TV rather than on a PPV. Additionally, Booker did not inform TNA management about his decision not to job to Morgan until 45 minutes before the Impact taping, which made it very difficult for the creative team to re-write the segment.

I thought something was up when just recently WWE hired a wrestler from Booker's wrestling school.

Booker T won't put over Morgan, but he let Austin beat him like he was nothing and the Rock acted like he didn't know who Booker was.
Booker doesn't know how to pick his battles.

Seems he likes to job for WWE, instead of putting over new talent and building a future for wrestling.

Back to the WWE to job in a supermarket.

The October 15th edition of TNA Impact is a 3-hour show. It will air on Spike TV from 9 PM to midnight. This will be the final show before TNA Bound For Glory 2009.

Hi guys. I plan to be in Orlando November 15th which is the day Turning Point will take place at the Impact Zone. I am going with my gf, but I wanted to know what time do i have to be in the row to get into the impact zone, considering is a PPV there will be many people waiting. Please give me your thoughts advices and share your experiences, cause I am going from South America. It would be nicer if i can stay for the tapings on 16th but i have to go to Miami to take my plane. Maybe i can change that, but be just the 15th is the most possible situation.
Do you consider that 15th I should do not much at Universal Studios? How much does the pass cost? Thanx guys, I love TNA and freeones, what a combo!

A blog post former WWE performer Rob Van Dam posted yesterday on the WWE Universe social networking site asking fans whether he should go to WWE or TNA has since been removed by WWE staff.

RVD then posted a blog originally posted on his website, which has a small note asking fans whether he should go to WWE or TNA.

Jim Cornette Says TNA Is Depressing.

In an interview with Alex Marvez of Scrippsnews.com, Jim Cornette says working for TNA Wrestling under Vince Russo was embarrassing and the television shows are "depressing" to watch.

"The matches are made meaningless so Russo can see his comedic lines and dramatic scripting spring to life," he said. "There's a bunch of great athletes, but they're not very good actors. They're even worse comedians."

Update on Lacey Von Erich: Backstage TNA Problems Continue

The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that Lacey Von Erich's problems in TNA are an ongoing issue as this past Thursday's Impact broadcast had to be heavily edited when Von Erich reportedly fell flat on her face while trying to do a run-in during the Knockout's elimination bout.

In further Von Erich news, ProWrestling.net is reporting that she suffered some sort of a hamstring injury while she was training awhile back at the Impact Zone. When she instructed a trainer to get her an icepack for her injury, she went back to the Knockout's locker room as opposed to the training room. When the trainer entered the locker room, Awesome Kong was reportedly only half dressed and the former Knockouts champion was not happy to say the least. This lead to Kong berating Von Erich later on in front of Kurt Angle, and there was said to be some minor heat on Von Erich thereafter with TNA management.


Doesn't seem like Lacey's fitting in too well.

Rob Van Dam To TNA

Reader "Lee" sent in word that he called RVD's Internet radio show the other night to discuss the main topic of the show, which was whether RVD should return to WWE or go to TNA. When he called in, the person who was screening the calls asked whether he thinks RVD should go to WWE or TNA. When he said WWE, the screener responded, "Ok, well I will put you through anyway".

Lee got the strong impression that they were trying to get more TNA callers and push the possibility of RVD going to TNA. Van Dam mentioned during the show that going to TNA would put him closer to his parents, who live in Florida.
