Too many cuts were one reason, the other (arguably more important) one was getting to see stuff that was filmed but never released. I don't really see that they're not (largely) delivering on that. It's just that there will be some good scenes that no camera caught, at least not intentionally rather than accidentally somewhere in the background. I think basically if there was a good scene in the original edit that you only ever saw happen in the background when you looked closely and repeatedly, chances are that's all we'll ever get to see of it. It's bound to happen like that in an event that's not been choreographed start-to-finish, down to the last quickie somewhere in a corner. I have more hopes for all those scenes that were visible full-on for 5 seconds before the idiot editors decided to cut to some girls dancing and looking bored. We already know those were filmed. Vol. 66 is basically among the worst parties in the whole 50..80 range I think (there were some GC ones that lowered the bar even more), so I wouldn't really base my judgement on this too much.

the earlier they stop editing multicam , the better, soon there will be new parties with mutlicam, if they continue with the same GC shit with no action and silly editing this will make PH even more worse, PHGC should have more action to match up with multicam and shit editing should stop, camera accidentally not picking up action can we ok, but action that can be clearly seen and not covered is not fine, PH just should look at their own old parties to improve , fire Gina get ales back

Maybe a stupid question... But why do they need to re-encode the old parties in order to release them and why does the poor quality of the footage mean they might not release them? So they won't be in full 2017 standard HD, but does anyone care? If the party was only filmed in SD then so be it, that's how we all enjoyed and continue to enjoy the original edited versions. I'd happily watch the unedited SD footage from back in the day if it means I actually get to see the footage.
I realise you can't really expect people to pay for new material in crap definition, but what we all want to see is old material.
