I want a source that tells me that you know p2p is the reason DVD sales are down. There are several reasons why DVD sales would be down, not just from p2p. Tough economic times, renting movies, buying them via dish satellite and demand, only 2-3 good movies actually come out per year, and blu-ray was a let down.
Those are all valid reasons as to why music sales are down. But you seem to forget that sales started to suffer back in the early part of the decade when every one was rich and spending money like crazy. So you're telling me that the RIAA started losing money in the last 2 years? Thats no where near true.
You can't sit there and honestly tell me with a straight face that with all the free stuff available, that thats not going to have an adverse impact to cd sales. Go to the
RIAA in wiki and compare 1999's sales of $14.6 billion and compare that to 2010's $10.4 billion. Now im not a math wiz but it seems that they're about $4 billion off.
I seriously doubt the RIAA is going around suing single moms just cause theyget off on it. It they weren't losing money like crazy they would care less what you people did as long as it wasn't taking money away from their cs gravy train.
So all of you that are defending free stuff on the internet give it up. It's not ok. Hell it's not even legal. Just admit you're cheap bastards and lets move on. I'll admit it. Im a cheap bastard and I haven't paid for porn in over a year and I'm addicted to tube sites. But I also sell porn online so with me tube sites are a love hate thing. But im not going to try to come here and say yeah free porn is cool, I have a god given right to it, because that would be a lie.
