Been back in the states for a month.
I notice that most of the tv commercials and paid programming crap is either about losing weight or getting out of debt.

To me thats sad.

Speaking of which....it's about beer-thirty here in Houston and it's 100 degrees outside so I think I'll grab a cold one right now. Makes me forget how overweight and in debt I am!! :beer:

I would bet that 35% of all tv commercials are car ads.Every single tv show that I watch has at least one,maybe even two,car ads during every single commercial break.

And I'm sick of the Bud Light commercials.They aren't funny anymore,so they should stop trying.

There used to be some amusing infomercials by Don LePree. He started by claiming you could make extra cash with "little ads." Then he graduated to this scam involving selling vitamins over the internet: the faux show-within-the-show was hosted by a cute brunette who was asked questions by another cute brunette-and they both sat leaning forward so their fairly impressive cleavages were displayed. Guest asked, "So-after I recruit people into the program, I don't have to talk to them?" "No," says the host, "You don't have to have anything to do with them!" "That's great!"

My favorite shot was of some dropping hundred $ bills into someone's hand-then the recipient makes this greedy, "More-MORE!" gesture-and it works. I bet you're sorry you missed out on this wonderful opportunity...
