U.S. Navy launches first fighter sized drone from aircraft carrier

No more Mavericks and no more Gooses, errr, Geese.

While Predators are typically piloted via remote control by someone in the U.S., the X-47B relies only on computer programs to tell it where to fly unless a human operator needs to step in.

Oh and that computer program just happens to be called "Skynet". Just sayin'.

Ok, I made that last part up.
