I'd probably give more of a damn if I gave two shits about the F-35. Screw it, if our potential future enemy wants to give us a hand with one of our weapons systems, I'm OK with it.

This is somewhat reminiscent of the Sea Shepherds buying former whaling ships to use against whalers. Some people tried to conjure up phony outrage when the M/V Sam Simon was bought in secret from the Japanese government. Fight fire with fire.

Should not be allowed to even bid on US government contracts of any kind.

US tax dollars should be spent on US companies and used to employ US citizens.

Y'know, I do agree with you. I was pissed when Beretta got the handgun contract (but not as pissed as it being a POS 9mm), I was pissed when I got issued a M-16A2 that was made by FN of Belgium.

Nothing new here. Countries have been selling/buying weapons and parts of it too/from other countries for centuries even when they were at war with that country. So I'm not sure what the fuzz is all about.
