The UK Financial Times ran a front page story today on UFC, saying that their first quarter revenue was up 41% and UFC expects to hit the $300 mark in revenue this year. The story has a quote from cable analyst Dana Myers who said that UFC has shifted fans from pro wrestling. Dana White said he goal is worldwide PPV over the internet and 4-5 million buys for big shows.

Man, I was really wanting to go to UFC 101 when I found out it was going to be in Philly, but I got scared off by those prices.

$50 - 100 for upper level, $200-400 for anything halfway descent.

I was always wondering why there are always so many celebrities at UFC events then i found out the ticket prices.
