They're lowest of the crop, sure.. but honestly comics have been pretty lame for a LONG time. Disposable heroes, villains, etc. After whats-her-tits depowered *supposedly* millions of mutants.. it just appears to be the same thing. Nobody of any importance has been lost. Recycled storylines and plot twists.
Animation is great, but books are dead. If I could subscribe to a couple comics in .PDF form, delivered to my email inbox.. for maybe 10, 20 bucks a year.. sure. But going out, looking for a comic book store, and standing in line while they discuss dungeons and dragons and warhammer the board game? Not my gig.
P.S. OH! And Zell, hell naw. Aeon's gadgets would only serve as a defense, as previously stated.. albeit ambiguously as pertaining to the overall fight.
Aeon has perfect reflexes and speed for a human. But only so many gadgets, and her aim isnt perfect.
UltraJovovich, on the other hand..by her lonesome, with only a blade. Wins.
Which reminds of me someone.. who asked me who would win, a level 10 druid or a lv10 wizard? (D&D) They have the same abilities.. so the answer is really, depends on who is playing them.. or extreme luck in either corner.
