'DVD quality downloads', you say... well, they are not exactly that high quality, are they? I mean, they do not compare to the 'high definition' videos for image quality, is that correct?
They list 'DVD resolution' as 640x480... that sounds very low if you ask me. Yet the bitrate is apparently 3500K which is a lot? How does that make sense?
The hi def vids I have are 1280x720, most with bitrates around 4000K but ranging all the way from 128K to 10000+K (how can that be?).
Quality beats quantity. I am only interested in hi def and I take it that is not what VideoBox is, right?
As for the resolution; it still qualifies as DVD resolution, most used dvd resolution is 720×480 (NTSC) or 720×576 (PAL).
And with the bitrate; VCD (VideoCD) bitrate is 1000K and DVD around 4500-5000K and HDTV +-15000K, with variable bitrate it can change from 128K to 10000+K it depends on the scene, in this case the slightly smaller resolution and the high bitrate will have a really good quality video. As for the facts, no it's not HD.
