Video Hook up 360>hdtv

well after buying my HDtv,i spent saturday redoing all of my entertainment center so i can get all my stuff hooked up.
only problem i have is that my 360 does not have HDMI capabilities. because i bought the "arcade" version of the 360.
and at this point i don't want to use the A/V cables (red,blue,white,etc)
is there a converter by Xbox that goes from the normal A/V output of the 360 and changes to HDMI input?
i hope cause that would suck if there isn't.

in this link it shows the newer arcade models have/had the HDMI port.
i don't have this.and im pissed.

i currently have the MAdcatz A/V wires (red,blue,green,etc) do you think this is suitable for a good picture and sound or should i go out of my way for the HDMI hook up?
or should i go get the Microsoft A/V wires that have the (red,blue,green,etc) and go with Microsoft accessories 100%? do you think it matters?

I use the Component Cables that came with the XBOX 360 Premium on my HDTV and it looks gorgeous.

i don't think i have them anymore.the ones that came with the system originally
i bought and used the S-video cables for my hook ups of both my 360 & ps2 on my old tv.
but now i may just buy the regular component cables like Warrior said. ill check the gamestop near work tomorrow to see what they have. the 3 stores here by me (all within 5 miles) do not have anything....like there was a "run" on 360 A/V cables!

I use the cables that came with my pro 360 and the pictures still beautiful- I'll prob upgrade to the hdmi when I buy my new tv later on this year, but for now what i have is fine.

yea i didn't even bother trying to search for any other kind of substitute.
i am sticking with the red,blue,green component cables.
picture and sound are great.

go but the xbox 360 elite. comes with the hookup in the xbox and the cable to hook it up plus two games and and 120 gig hard drive. i got one and never looked back! its great!
