VIDEO: Minorities Discriminating Other Minorities...The Hypocrisy Of It All!

I see some of this threads that talks about how minorites in this country seem to always the victim of the evil white racism, as if "we" are some innocent doves. Then I see fucking disturbing videos like the following, in which a gay man is nearly fatally beaten by two men of color this last friday in NEW YORK CITY.

What's silly is that probably the two bastards will whine about racist discrimination when they are in jail and see that pretty much everybody in there looks like them.:dunno:

If a white person did this to a black or hispanic person, the uproar would be unsurmountable. So then, why are we letting minorities do stuff like this to other minorities, and it goes pretty much unnoticed, while we hold the white man to a higher standard?? These cultures seem to be instilling the same kind of hatred and bigotry they complain about, but it seems not "politically correct" to address it! :fight:

No I'm not white. But I am just sick of all this hipocrisy of people whining about racism, and then turning around and discriminating others. Fuck, finally someone sees my side of the "race" issue. Blacks play the race card far, far to often. Act one way, then bitch when a "white" person looks at em the wrong way.

Maybe it is not because of the minority-on-minority violence, but because reports of violence from minorities are more common than an attack by a white person. Therefore, if a black person attacks a gay man, it is not as big of a "deal" as if a white man attacked a gay man. As racist as it may sound, we assume that a black man is more likely to attack someone than a white man because of hundreds of years of culture and society telling us how that is. It does not make their actions more or less horrible than if a white man (Or any other race) had done them, of course. Personally, this kind of report makes me wish there were more Bernie Goetz's in the world. Any kind of attack like that on someone is terrible, and yes, I do agree that they should be held accountable for their actions, even though they probably will use a racist excuse to try and get out of punishment.

I agree with you, but I think this problem really needs to be addressed by larger American society. Minorities are way too overrepresented when it comes to bias attacks against other groups, and is not by mere coincidence. Yet are always the first to cry racism as well. Unfortunately if a person dares to point it out, they risk being labeled "racists." That's why me, as a minority myself, speak about it and they have nothing to say, because they know is the truth!!! :2 cents:

No, maybe you need to take off your hate goggles because the attackers have already been identified (one has been arrested), and they are NOT
black. Not that it matters, the issue here is that an innocent individual (regardless of whether they are male, female, she-male, white, black, yellow, red, hispanic, etc) was brutally attacked. The man was allegedly attacked for being gay. That's the big issue, that's the crime, and that's what you need to focus on. Smarten up, even a little bit.

I'm black and I get discriminated against all the time, but I'm not going to wine and bitch about it all the time. There's major discrimination on both ends, and it's going to be that way for a long time. I guess it's just apart of this fucked up world we live in. :dunno:

I think so too, but there's a difference between prejudice and hate. Alot of times we'll have a prejudiced thought, or maybe take a prejudiced action and not even realize that we've done it.

But when you outright hate someone based on what they are, and not who they are, that's beyond simple prejudice. That's where fanaticism and violence comes from. That's where the mistrust comes from. Maybe it'll be better when we're all born grey.

While I agree with you, I don't think that two despicable men breaking ALL the ribs of a man and collapsing both of his lungs, while breaking his jaw, merely because the victim was perceived as gay, is just a "bit of prejudice" being displayed. And I understand this is not what you suggested as well. But this rats most likely experienced discrimination themselves, so they should know better. But I guess that their way to get over their inferiority complex, trying to assert some sort of sick superiority to other groups.

This video is emblematic of the culture of hate that pervades this minority groups against other groups. This just doesn't happen out of a blue moon. To be honest with you, I have experienced much more discrimination in form of verbal abuse by blacks than any other group, followed by hispanics to a much lesser extent. White people, from my experience, and even Asians, just mind their own fucking business.

While I am not saying that all this people are bad, there is definitely a cultural component in their communitties that support this hatred. However, the main point is: don't whine about discrimination and then turn around and do the same thing to others. :2 cents:
