Lets pick apart this video. Father gives nephew? This uncle is shirtless, sagging, and belting his nephew. Where is the father? Constant profanity. This video sets black people back.

All seriousness it is fine, good for the uncle, though won't this piss the nephew off enough to where he wants to run away and become full time blood/crip and completely ruin his life? Instead of just hanging out with the boys and maybe falling out of it when he gets older and realizes it is all just lethal playground antics between grown individuals?

I don't know. This video can be interpreted many ways. Most the time the consequence of this action will either be the boy will now get made fun of for a very long time and maybe have a Tosh.O redemption, or he will be so pissed off he will kill his uncle and/or run away.

Who knows. It might set him straight. However this video is just too freaking hilarious to really take it seriously.

See, that kid knew better. At the very front of that video, uncle explains the family's stance on that thug bullshit. Don't think for a moment this kid wasn't aware of this. Good on this man for not putting up his nephews phony internet persona. He put an end to that thug life real quick. Talk about an interesting rest of the school year for him...

I remember one time in a mall this man was walking with two children, I naturally assumed he was the father, but when I talked to him he turned out to be the grandfather. The one child (looked to be about 5-6) kept running off from him anywhere and everywhere and in the middle of the mall he said: Do you want me to take off my belt and whip you right here, right now?

That kid straightened right up and went by his side, remained quiet, and didn't run off again.

the kid was breaking the grand dads balls, probably not the first time.
kids are kids, and some just dont give a fuck about other peoples feelings.
sometimes the only thing that can get through to some is intimidation, fear and/or a little physical pain.

youre doing the kid a favor, and everybody else who will have to deal with him when he's an adult asshole.

i bet if they did a study they would find that 90% of all assholes had weak willed parents and recieved no discipline as children.
maybe thats why there are so many assholes around these days

Somebody had to do it! My parents used to say '...you wanna act crazy? I'll show you crazy!', and that is exactly what this is. You wanna play thug gangsta on the web?... I'ma show you real thug gangsta on the web!

See, parents forgot how to take here with their kids. Children don't fear or respect grown folks at all, and feel like they can do and say what they want. My hope is that this video sparks a renaisance. Parents need to get back to this, and not be afraid to go there with their kids. Let em' know... If you keep on with this behavior, there will be far worse consequences than a belt waiting for you in the real world. Get em' right... right now!!!

I am reminded of a D L Hughley routine about black family discipline and white family discipline.

in the states, especially in past years, i agree black families were pretty strict.
but so were a lot of whites.
my dad and my uncles who are full italian, couldnt even speak without asking permission first in the house.
and when guests were over, they had to leave the house, get the hell outside and play, and dont make too much noise.

today in all ethnic groups some are and some arent strict whether it be for lack of giving a shit or political "i wanna be your buddy not your parent" correctness.
