As a Vikings fan i wouldnt be against Favre as QB- TJax is still unproven and Rosenfelds is a backup- u gotta figure even at 70% of what Favre once was, he would be an upgrade at QB- besides how hard can it be to handoff to Adrian Peterson all day

im not trying to bash TJax, i feel like he has a ton of potential and he has shown flashes of brilliance, but he really has yet to prove he can stay healthy, let alone lead the team- although he did play very well at the end of last season(minus most of the playoff game) so it is very possible my whole take is wrong lol

He's getting old enough that soon Favre is going to need a walker to move around the field. At best he's 50% of what he was in his prime...at best. Still he's probably a lot better than Jackson is. I wouldn't be surprised if half the backups in the league are as good or better than Jackson.

u are right but for some reason the Vikings are feeding the fire- Childress' comments in that article, plus the Vikings team plane in Mississippi- i dont know- i just want 1 of my teams to win it all someday- and i know the Iowa Hawkeyes(other than wrestling) and the Chicago Cubs never will- Vikes have a lot of talent on offense and defense- anybody that helps them get to the championship, even if its a washed up former Packer, is ok by me

Anway... The Vikings are my team, and I say bringing in Brett Favre would be insane. He's the antichrist as far as I'm concerned. He's a Packer for life at this point. And that means he is the enemy. The Vikes need a long term solution at QB. Favre isn't that. And neither is Tarvaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels.

It's a shame that we got the best running back in the league, a killer O-line, a fantastic defense, and it's all going to go to waste because we don't have a QB. And you can't win in the NFL without a serviceable QB.
