this mindless entertainment we've been subject to reminds me of (yes, I know, a Hollywood-release, lol) "Idiocracy". I swear if things keep up the way its going, we'll end up like that, lol

So are you saying that's Vince Vaughn's ass in Ass? It seems like that role is a little out of his norm.

I think Vince Vaughn is very funny in his movies and he does play the same character in his movies but I don't care. As long as the movies he make are good, Im cool. Will Smith plays the same role too in his movies too. He always saving the damn world but he is talented enough to play ALI.

Heath Ledger had versatility. From William Thatcher in A Knight's Tale to the Joker in The Dark Knight, he portrayed a wide range of characters.

Vince Vaughn may be the same in every movie, but his movies are still funny. They aren't great movies, but they are good for a laugh.

I think Vince Vaughn's funniest movie is Dodgeball. And that's mainly because of Ben Stiller. Now there's a versatile comedian.

Also, a quick story. I was at Wrigley Field the same day as Vince Vaughn who was there to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and promote Dodgeball. After the game, the group I was with were walking to our car when we saw V.V. walking with his entourage and some security trying to get to his limo. He had fans all around him trying to get autographs and I was lucky enough to get close enough for him to sign my hat. :hatsoff: Also, he had these three hot chicks with him and they got in the limo before him. Famous bastard!

Only movie I remember watching him in is Dodgeball one on FX and Wedding Crashers.

Beyond that, I guess. I never knew about him until he started dating Jennifer Aniston.

I prefer Made. His character was a little more funny and little bit less of an asshole in that than compared to Swingers.

And....quit whining about him being typecast. I don't think he minds. His roles are generally pretty funny. And if you don't like them, don't go see the movie. If this was like his third movie like this, I could see how you'd be upset that you spent your money when thinking your going to get something else, but it's like his 10th fucking movie like this. If you haven't figured it out by now, that's your problem.
