What add-on's do you use in Firefox?

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
I have very few add-on's that I play with, only two that I really care for, and I'm curious what other people use and why. What's your review? :D

The government did it.

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.
The synopsis on the plug-in page wasn't very informative, so I'll ask you: When you use this on a page of pics, does it just download the thumbnails, or does it grab the big pics?

It seems it doesn't work right, so yeah, it still saves the thumbs and not the big ones. But it works on other forums where I am a member

I don't think the G-spot exists!
Download helper - for streaming grabs

Easy you tube video downloader - for same as above.

Download status bar - unobtrusive, shows download progress % in a tiny window, bottom of screen.

Flashgot - select all installed download managers through this.

Tin eye - Disappointed with the results, it hasn't really helped at all so far.

Download them all - Yes for downloading full galleries of individual pics, so no nausiating and time consuming right-click fests. You can set it to download the full size pics and/or the thumbs, the filter can be set to include embedded links, then you just click the links part of the main interface with jpg/images etc still selected in the tick boxes.

I use it for full size pics, but it doesn't work with all sites, e.g. the ones where the individual images enlarge in a pop up, it can't grab the pics from the links.

It also works as a stand alone download manager for large files videos or zips.

Imagehost grabber - like download them all, eliminates all the right clicking. For use on full galleries uploaded to popular imagehosts.

Is it just me, or does freeones keep locking up for other members today?:horse:

No, it's doing it to me as well.

I think the email notification isn't working at 100%

I know the search function (not the advanced, the other one) is not working at all.

Ace Bandage

Thank you!

I downloaded it and it works great, but I can't seem to find where to change the default directory of where the downloaded pics are stored. Do you know?

firefox top menu bar click... tools
then hover mouse on download them all tools
then click...downloadthemall from menu(should be top one?)

You will see the interface, in the 'save files in' segment you can change the file directory or browse to include another destination with the folder symbol.

Its probably easier to set it the next time you use it, when the interface appears before you start the download. Once you've downloaded files it will stay as automatic choice.

The one click function will also download all the file formats that you've set to that directory.

Thanks again!
I think I use None. To lazy to check them out. :o
That's really why I started this thread. I'm also lazy and didn't feel like wading thru thousands of entries on their plug-in site, reading boring descriptions, which in some cases are probably wrong. Many of the members here have tried out a lot of the plug-in's, so I wanted users to
share their likes/dislikes, and it's already paid off. That DownloadThemAll that Ranger suggested is great!

Everybody keep 'em coming, and please add some description of what they do. :D

I use NoScrpt. It's pretty much the only thing that can make the Internet remotely even slightly bearable while using dial-up.
