My thoughts on heavy metal? Well for a long time I hated it....but as I've gotten older the more and more I have listened to it. I'm sure it's meant to be the other way round, listen to metal as a kid and grow out of it by your 30s but hey I like to be different lol Also I think it's been the most innovative genre over the last 30 years.
I like a fairly wide variety of metal, prodominantly prog and thrash bands but I draw the line at Death/Black metal purely cos I can't stand the vocals. I find it a pity cos there's several bands out there that are very good technically but the vocals shit me to tears lol

Now as for soccer or football I do like it but I find it can depend on who's playing. If teams are just holding back looking to defend constantly and get a nil-all draw it can be dead set boring. But if teams play the beautiful game like Arsenal, Barcelona, Brazil etc then more often than not you know goals are gonna be scored and they are usually top quality too.
Which makes it more exciting to watch.
