I have to say that the Simpsons' Movie was just amazing. Non-stop laugh-out-loud for entire movie! Probably the best comedy made in a long time.

Yeah exactly.

Terry Gilliam's masterpiece Brazil

I liked it!

As many know I can't stand poorly acted, thin plot, action flicks with the wrong sound effects and physically impossible feats. (Flyboys! comes to mind)

Therefore I rented Jhou Lu's Train. A mysterious story about a woman who regularly travels across China by train to meet her lover.

Montrealman

Love comes and goes but FreeOnes is forever.
Gwoemul aka The Host

Great monster film plus really examines the social state and politics of modern South Korea.
Rent it if you get the chance.

Also it's really cool for me because I used to hang out at that park by the river where the action takes place.

It's Cinemanila here in the Philippines, got Quentin Tarantino here and his movies along with a ton of international and local films/b-movies/shorts showing. I saw this flick called Control, a true story about Ian Curtis, vocalist for Joy Division, a 1970s British band. Anyone heard of this movie? The band?
