What is the latest good film you watched ?

Count Fuckula

I still don't know what I am doing
Now that Forrest Whittaker has won an Oscar for his mesmerising portrayal of
nut case dictator Idi Amin, if you haven't seen the film The Last King Of Scotland then go .. he is brilliant in it .. totally justified his award.

not sure it qualifies, because I really don't know what I think about this movie. but since that in itself is an unusual feat, i'll post it here:

I think the Director's Cut of "Kingdom of Heaven" was a true blessing and worth every penny. When I saw the 40 minute shorter version in the cinema I thought, so what? That's a Ridley Scott movie? I didn't plan on ever watching it again. Then I got my hands on the long version with the 4 hour DVD extras and I LOVED it. The movie now rocks and is on par with 1492 and Black Hawk Down and the Extras explain very clearly what happened to those 40 missing minutes. Very interesting and highly recomended. Just make sure you don't buy or rent the 2-hour version.

BTW a director's cut of "Alexander" is coming out on DVD. I'm gonna avoid that at all costs. There's no way a longer version is going to improve that steaming pile of crap. Honestly I think Alexander was the worst movie I've seen in the past 5 years. Let me know if anyone has checked out the "long" version. Just curious

Got here by spamming
After seeing the DEPARTED twice, I rented INFERNAL AFFAIRS from which the screenplay was adapted from. Just as intense and well acted.

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
