It's easy to figure out. They try to emulate the behaviors they see on those fake ass "reality" tv shows & they know full well that the more bizzare they act, the better the odds that someone will video tape it (I mean, even cell phones have video now) & it will get to tv and/or the web (specifically YouTube) & will then go viral. Sadly, soooooo many people just want attention, that they no longer even care where it comes from. Couple that with the American idea and mindset of entitlement and you have a volitile environment. All they want is their 15 minutes, and that's what they get.
