What is Your Dream Concert?

PlasmaTwa2

The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
Anyone else have a concert that they really want to see before they die? I've been wanting to see Rammstein live for years now, but I never thought I would ever get the chance because they have only played something like three shows in North America (almost went last year to their show in Quebec City, but it didn't work out). I nearly had a heart attack when I found out they were going to play a tour through North America later this year, and that they were actually coming to Western Canada to play in Edmonton.

Needless to say, I got a ticket. It's like a dream come true for me. Does/Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? Frankly, the only thing better would be if Cobain rised from the dead and Nirvana held a reunion tour.

Stevie Ray Vaughan. There are quite a few that in their heyday I wasn't born or was too young (Cab Calloway, Hendrix, etc). But SRV is probaly the only one that was in my time that I didn't get a chance to see.

I have a few impossible ones, such as Rory Gallagher and Bob Marley.

I eat, sleep, and live FreeOnes!
In october I'm going to Frankfurt to see Jean Michel Jarre perform. He gave a concert in the Netherlands last year but I couldn't go so I'm not going to mis it this year.

Im a big Joe Satriani fan, & back in 2002 my dream came true and saw him for the first time in London at the Shepards Bush Empire for his Strange Beautiful tour. It was pretty amazing & he played for almost 3 hours, playing some of his classics :D

Was awesome to see Def Leppard & Whitesnake together at Wembley Arena & Iron Maiden at Twickenham on their Somewhere Back In Time tour back in 2008

Also looking forward to seeing Nightwish & Within Temptation again this year/next year if they go on tour with their new albums that are due out

I saw them here in Sweden at Globen on their A Matter of Life And Death tour. I was swept away. I had never seen anything like, until I saw AC/DC on their Black Ice tour.

I saw them on that tour too, on their very last date back in London, a couple of days before Christmas. That was amazing too! They played the whole of A Matter of Life & Death album + some classics. That was the first time I saw them :thefinger

I'd love to have a Super Concert, where I could see The Cure in their early 1980s heyday, Nirvana, Soundgarden in their heyday, The Flaming Lips, Alice In Chains, XTC circa 1979-1986, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and, of course, White Zombie. Oh, and David Bowie during the Diamond Dogs era.

Pain heals, chicks dig scars, Freeones lasts forever
I got to See Joe Satriani. That was huge. Other wise Cobain would have to come back from the dead for me to see Nivana.

I know you'll all think I'm a dork, but there's an opera that I've just missed a bunch of times. Moses und Aron by Schoenberg. I missed it in Vienna because of travel by a day. I missed it in Amsterdam by 2 days because of travel. I missed it in Chicago by 1 day because of travel. I missed it in New York by 1 day because a storm prevented me from landing...

One day, I'll see it live....

I know where you live.

I'm going to stab you in the nuts as you sleep. Not tonight, but soon.

The only way to prevent this is to call me and sing the leitmotifs of all the main characters in the opera.

Historically, I'd kill a hobo to be able to go back in time and see Led Zeppelin in their heyday, and a Kiss show from the 70s as well.

Current bands I have or would love to see are Tool, Alice In Chains, Audioslave, and Down.

Let's just put aside the bands that disbanded or the artists that are dead...

I've never seen AC/DC, I hope I could seen'em once 'cause, I think they are the kind of bands any rock/Hard-Rock/Metal fan must have seen once in his life.
Same about Motorhead

I'm also looking forward to see Arch Enemy
