I was lucky to see Nirvana in 1989 at a medium sized club when I danced in front of the speaker the whole show.
(An unknown act "The Smashing Pumpkins" was also on the bill.) So I can't complain.

But, if I could have the show of my dreams...

Hendrix, drunk, just playing straight blues in a small club (like on the Driving South album.)

I would have loved seeing Black Sabbath during their many tours in the 70's. They were one of the most energetic bands during this period.

Sabbath were deffo at their best during the 72-75 period, but if i had to pick one night, it would be during the 1978 tour with Van Halen as a support act.

The thought of seeing Black Sabbath just before they disbanded, and passing the torch to Van Halen, who were a rising force at the time...in one night!

Dude, I've already been to it!
And I didn't even know it at the time.

I'm sure I've related this before but I bought tix to Ozzy Osbourne after he left Black Sabbath and hoped that it would be a good show.

If you remember correctly you know that was the first time he toured with Randy Rhoads.

I was absolutely blown away.
I went into the show thinking I was a good guitar player and left knowing that Randy was THE KING.

I was close enough to touch him and I just "fell about the place"!

SHOCKED and AMAZED

That was right around the time Thom and company told their fans they didn't want them to mash anymore.

Either way, they are at the top of my list of bands to see before I go. :)

You gotta see them. They are just superb live. Sell family members, body parts, kidnap an executive, kill a hooker for her stash ... anything. Just get there.

New album due out, so opportunities beckon ....

Oasis, I suppose, just to say I had been there.

My other dreams have already come true: Tool and Rage Against the Machine.

With access to a time machine, I'd love to have been around SoCal in the 90s and seen Sublime play at one of their low budget beach shows. And Kyuss, when the played their desert generator sets.
