I'm just curious to see what language skills we currently have on the board. :D

English, Spanish, a little Portuguese, a little Italian and a little French. I don't have much opportunity to practice, so I'm a little rusty. I wanted to learn German and Russian but I don't see that happening any time soon. I know a few phrases in Arabic, Pashtu and Farsi but they boiled down to "Throw down your weapon and put your hands up."

If I had a my Freeones account, I would have just gotten 25 points!
Well, Petra, define "fluently". I mean, flawless? If that's the case, then I can't speak any language fluently? :D
I'm pretty good with German and English, though. Not quite as good with Japanese, but enough to write, read and talk. ;)
My French is a little bit better than the basic skills. Latin I can only read, but as I'm out of practice it's getting worse.
I can read Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Luxembourgian and classical Chinese, but I can't talk in any of these languages (except for a little bit of Italian).

I'm an American. So obviously, I only know how to speak english. Learning multiple languages is not important in American schools. Taking a foreign language is required but it's possible to pass the classes as long as you can say the alphabet and count to ten.

Would you hit it?
Swedish and English. But Swedes, Danes and Norwegians are all very similar so you understand each other, and if you wanna sound like another just change the intonation :D

A little Spanish and French too, but not fluently. French is so difficult to speak that I just got bored with it, but Spanish is very funny and smoothly spoken.

German and English, my Swedish is degenerating by the hour, my French and Spanish never really got off the ground during my days in school, so there's only little left, I read (and understand) some Greek and I understand a little Arabic (without the reading part though).
