Yeah it's because they want to find incriminating evidence but are to lazy to do internet background checks.
Not that they should in the first place; but that's the only reason they want it.
Fuckin able bodied people raping the welfare system! Using food stamps for a cart full of steaks and loading them into a new suv while talking on a cell phone. Compounding the problem of many illegal aliens abusing the system in this way, and not working or ever intending to, while I pay taxes for their system babies and fat asses.

You're right again; it's not their business as far as what bills you pay or don't or your overall record etc... They make it theirs because people don't fight against them doing it.
