As a parent the only thing that concerns me is if my children have a good character. Their sexual orientation plays no relevance for me at all.

I think it is very disapointing to see parents who react violently to such issues. Throwing their children away, stopping the contact, criticising, hate... sexual orientation is not something a person can choose. This is just a pathetic as trying to change a person that is left handed.
