also with Xbox you can add pics from a camera to your xbox as a wallpaper and you can add music from the computer if you have the right stuff and software

You can do all that on a PS3 too, just so ya know.

Lessee... Photos, slideshows, movies, playlists, visualizations, Video/Audio enhancement when viewing video, audio, or DVD/BD's.

Game patching, saves transferring thru USB flashdrives, PSP or over the net. Internet browsing, it recognizes your USB keyboard, mouse or PC gamepads automatically. (Seriously, I simply plugged in my logitech wingman and it recognized it without a hitch. Boom, cheap 7$ second controller for most games.)

WiFi connection, DLNA media server capabilities, and Bluetooth devices are easy as hell to setup. I made my cell phone earpiece a microphone/speaker device for online play, how kickass is that?

Scary but kickass. (Just what devices WONT work with each other in the future, eh?)

Oh, and video support for XviD, AVI, WMV, MPG, MP3, MP4, AVC, and... blah blah. Tons of stuff. My only complaint: Matroska, OGG Vorbis and FLAC support arent supported yet.

75% of all my anime downloads = Vorbis audio within the Matroska 'container'.

Searching for Freeones enlightenment.
I had both a PS3 and 360 but got rid of the 360 when ps3 games started rolling out on a regular basis. All the games I love are either on PS3 only or both those consoles, so that is why I chose PS3, game choices.

I think that the PS3 is the best of this Generation, but my favourite console is the PSX(Playstation 1)

I like my gaming rig best. I have it hooked up to my TV and have a 360 contoller, so theres not much difference. The graphics may actually look better. Yeah, you have to keep upgrading them, but you spend just as much on buying new consoles when they come out. Plus, the games are a lot cheaper for pc.

Incoming! Silly sayings!
PS3 all the way, you losers who say XBOX is better, there is but one small thing that 360 has over PS3, and that is SLIGHTLY beter online gaming. Everything else the PS3 is at least as good, and in most cases better than 360.

Would you hit it?
Nintendo has policies and guidelines that prevent several games from being released to their console. Such as graphic nudity, excessive violence and religious symbols for example. They also keep a tight grip over third-party developers so their consoles don't get flooded with bad license games. Because of this, the Wii plays in another division than the 360 or PS3, but that was Nintendo's intention from the start. It's also cheaper, which is probably why it's the best-selling of the three.

Why you included the PS2 in this poll I don't understand. It's a sixth generation console and hardly comparable to the current machines today, unless you're a die hard retro fan. But then you should have included every machine ever to be released.
Same with PC, some guy before me posted that a high-end PC breaks the PS3 and 360, which is absolutely true. But a PC is, to me at least, so much more than a gaming console. It will always be much more important for me to have a good PC than having a last-generation video-gaming system.

So in the end, it's PS3 versus Xbox 360. To me, it's an easy choice. The Xbox360 have more games and a more active online community. It's a 100% pure gaming system, and in my opinion the best gaming system ever. It does have flaws, such as shitty engineering with loud-ass ventilation and destroying your discs if you move it. But they don't effect my gaming experince to be honest and the constant flow of awesome games make up for it.
The PS3 has indeed been catching up lately, sharing many Xbox360 releases. And more people are buying it, meaning more and more online gaming. The PS3 has blu-ray, where the Xbox360 has HD-DVD, which means one point for the PS3. And the technical details are slightly better on the PS3, but since most games are developed for the Xbox360 and ported to the PS3 (at least that's my perception) it doesn't matter. And I've yet to see a game where the PS3 truly outshines the 360.

I could go on longer but this is already a rant. The Xbox 360 is currently a much more valuable gaming system than the PS3. And if I want everything else than gaming, I use my PC. Hence, the PS3 is obsolete to me and the 360 kicks its ass.
