HC: Maybe you can answer this. What is the problem with ImageBam?!

For the past few weeks, whenever I click any link on ImageBam, all I see are super-large pics that look like someone took snapshots of an image on a 1980's era TV. Plus, they take forever to load.

Try a different image host and see if that solves the issue.

no Connor i can assure you it is an lcd tv and not an 80s tv, i'm not having big problems with imagebam lately anyway. i am trying a new one different image lost ,do you know a better new link?

From my experience, whenever an image host becomes popular, thing start going to shit. One or more of these issues usually start:

1. They put adware on their site.
2. They put malware on their site.
3. They put pop-ups on their site.
4. The site starts having bandwidth problems (slow load times) due to heavy traffic.
5. The site routinely crashes due to bandwidth problems from heavy traffic.
6. Other crap. Etc.

For these reasons, I no longer use ImageBam, ImageVenue, Imgur, and I had to stop using ImageFlea as their upload page stopped working for some reason. Below are the ones I use now:

Yes, the pictures are taking a long time to load. I don't think it is the hosting service, imagebam, itself. There will be issues loading these six pictures anywhere. Let me explain.

From experience, however, there are also not enough pixels in the images themselves as that's what's causing the blurriness. They are probably from videos at SD. Maybe 360p? Maybe 240p?

I took a download off imagebam of the fourth image. With that, comes another problem. It's been grossly enlarged to 5152 pixels x 3854 pixels Thus another reason for the long loading time.

Let's reduce it to 1200 pixels x 900 pixels (so that it can fit here) ....

I loaded the original image into Yandex. It failed. Let's try it again - it came back as Lexxxi Lockhart ...

Now let's try the resize in Yandex ....

Same result. Lexxxi Lockhart. Is this Lexxxi Lockhart?

Hardcore84, as a suggestion,

• Please reduce the size of these pictures before loading them to another image host or try them again in imagebam. You may get better results.

• You will still have a pixel problem with these images. That issue, unfortunately, cannot be avoided.
