I can set my own custom title!
Having only seen the 2 most recent series, I feel it would be unfair for me to vote for a doc who I haven't seen so I shall go for Eccelston over Tennant

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.

Would you hit it?
I pretty much like all of them - including the crappy FOX movie Doctor - he was a good doctor just in a bad movie.
My Favorite is Tom Baker, he had a good dramatic range for the Doctor.
William Heartnell was a great Doctor, great choice to start the series with.
Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee, were great Doctors but the episodes dragged out way to long, at least with Pertwee they writers tightened up the episodes.
Peter Davidson set the standard for the series after Tom.
I think Collin Baker got hard criticism as the Docotor , he had to follow Tom and Peter, and did a damn good job of it as far as I'm concerned, and he had some good and imaginative writers, especially with trial of a Time Lord.
I don't know much about Sylvester McCoy only saw a few episodes with ace, and the quality of the episodes decreased but what I saw was pretty good.
Christopher Eccleston was a kick ass Doctor - pissed me off that he had to be all artsy fartsy and only do one season, he should have done at least two seasons. for that he's on my shit list.
David Tennant, I liked his Doctor allot - he would be my second favorite Doctor if the stories didn't get so mushy and emotional.
but none the less I would have liked to seen more of him as the Doctor, he left to soon, would have liked to seen him up against Timothy Dalton's Rassilon.
Mat Smith looks good, but not looking forward to him up against the Master or Rassilon.
to much Daleks - I like them but enough's enough, the new Cybermen - iiih , OK but I like the old ones better.

Jury's out for me on Matt Smith...I hope he does well, but the cynical part of me thinks his selection was more for those who adore Robert Pattinson and "Twilight"

Jury's out?!?
Of course it is. He hasn't even started yet! To be honest I was originally dead set against him purely because he is so young, but then Davison was my favourite & he wasn't very old. Also Smith kinda looks young & old at the same time, if that's possible. Maybe its his clothes, there's also something vaguely reminiscent of Patrick Troughton about him in what brief clips I've seen so far. Oh well, its traditional to be wary of the new resident of the TARDIS. But that's the thing about Doctor Who, it is constantly evolving.

Pretty close one. I grew up with Tom Baker as Dr. Who, so I voted for him, but I really like David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston.
Absolutely some of the best Dr. Who episodes story-wise were with David Tennant, just some amazing writing in his series.

I'm a big Peter Cushing fan but not the doc IMO.

You can't have everything! Where would you put it?!
Tom Baker by a mile. He had the mix of whimsy and gravitas pitch perfect. When I die and get to heaven I'm going to hassle Douglas Adams to write new episodes of Dr Who and get Tom Baker to act in them.

It really doesn't get any more scouse thatn growing up on Scotty Road in Liverpool. It is amazing to think that when you hear Tom Baker now.

As in "I don't know" - as you've stated he hasn't started yet, but my intial stance is that I'm not that sure about him. I'm just hoping that the BBC isn't trying to be "trendy".
