The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
This has been done before.

But, I'm still going to say Hitler.

none of them were really that important if you think about it.

like maybe if it wasn't for the guy that invented the electric toothbrush, I would have to brush my own teeth. or if it wasn't for the guy who discovered the small pox vaccine, etc. maybe i'd be living in the united states of britian right now...

either way any single individual wouldn't really effect my life very much except in minute details that I wouldn't be aware of (because they never happened!), and no individual contribution had an effect for more than 100 years.

what about Jesus Christ, you say? nice try. he had very little influence at all, he was pretty much entirely ignored by everyone during his own time. it was only because of the gospels and then many other people that used his ideas or the ideas of his ideas as a basis that effected the world significantly, albeit in a way that was not really directly related to any of the people that proceeded or followed them.

and even still, just because millions of people worship him, it really wouldn't have been any different if he had never lived. thier lives would be exactly the same, they would just worship someone else instead.

If Jesus lived, it was certainly not between 1000-2000

That depends on whose archeological records you are looking at and what method of dating they use.

Gleb Vladimirovich Nosovsky "In 2003, together with (Anatoly) Fomenko using methods to calculate astronomical that Jesus lived in the 1152-1185 AD." (text obviously translated from Russian.)

So, books were written about a dude hundreds to 1,000 years before he was born? Wars (crusades) fought over one hundred years before he might have been born? A church was based on someone over 1,000 years before someone lived?

I guess it depends on what you believe was the most important development of the last millennium. The rise of Western Europe? The reformation? Democracy? Europe colonizing the western hemisphere? The crusades?

No. According to those guys, those things happened later than previously assumed also. If I remember correctly they assert that during the "dark ages" when nothing happened in history, literally nothing happened because that time span didn't exist, and it was just invented to fit the incorrect modern timeline.

yeah, it sounds crazy, by the really crazy thing is that you have no idea if it is or not. I got the first book (out of like 12 that they wrote) and it's based on a shitload of research, it's like 800 pages long and unless you are Good Will Hunting or an Astrophysicist, most of it will go way over your head. I could barely get through the introduction.

^^ I have done some further reading on the subject since you mentioned this dude's theory.

Pretty crazy stuff. The theory goes that the human race only goes back to 800 ad.

Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes.
A mellinium is a very long time. To just single out one person... I think would be all but impossible.

I'm going for the deep spiritual answer. The most influential person of the last mellinium has been and continues to be the great and underlying flow of energy that exists beyond the curtian of the material world and that makes up all of us. Every living soul.

Word.
