:nono:No one laughed. Besides yourself.
After the marriage = fineOne way to think about this:
Let's say you fell in love and got married. Two years into your marriage, your wife gets hit by a drunk driver and is confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. If you are any sort of real man, you would still care for her. You'd still adore her personality even though she could no longer walk.
Now turn the tables. Let's say you met this woman after the accident whether than before. Other than being wheelchair confined, she has the same personality that you fell in love with. That shouldn't change the series of events that led to your marriage. I know that being stuck in a wheelchair could take a huge blow on someone's personality/outlook. That would give me all the more reason to try my best to make that person feel wanted.
I would feel fine hugging\kissing a woman in a wheelchair, but I would be nervous about actually having sex. If the woman assured me it was okay, then I guess I would do it. I would just be worried about hurting/killing her. That being said, I'm sure that those in wheelchairs have their desires just like everyone else. If I had to settle for an alternative to sex, I would be cool with that.
Overall, I was very impressed with the 5 pages of replies in this thread. Most guys outside of open-minded environments such as this one would shoot down the idea of dating a wheelchair woman without any second thoughts. You could make someone very happy this way.
After the marriage = fine
Before = not fine (how could you have your first dance?)

:why: It was a legitimate concern.
