Yea, how about we clone hitler just for shits and giggles, we can hire him out for bar mitzvahs and birthdays. Or he can do a comedy double with Saddam Hussein, "axis of comedy - Youll laugh til you die" and the posters can read "There havent been this many tears since auschwitz".
Who could we clone for the good of the world, Jesus? Bad enough when people are seeing him in their toast let alone passing him in the street. Who the hell would want two of themselves floating around either, unless you wanted to fake your own death.
And yes I know alot of people are gonna think something like "I wanna clone erica campbell so She can run away with me", no, all your gonna have is two women who arent interested in you.

Curious how the mention of the t-rex reminds me of the arguement in jurassic park that jeff goldblum brings up, does man have the right to bring back an animal that has its shot on earth, or use the same technology to save animals that are on the brink of extinction. Using it to improve human life...sketchy at best. I guess my biggest problem with it is, how many "clones" lives will be all fucked up or lived entirely in a laboratory environment before we get it right? I guess its more the quest that bothers me rather than the eventual end.
Some good may come out of it, who knows maybe even a cure for cancer or some crazy shit like that. But if its ever perfected it'll be like Pandora's box so to speak!

You are aware that if something or someone is cloned they have to be born and raised again?
They actually have to grow and develope again. In fact, the only thing thats actually cloned would be the looks. Personalities could not be the same and they wont have the same memories.

I think people are concerned about their soul and such.
As far as personalities and memories.. I dunno. Genetics play a huge role and who knows if memory retention stops at instinct? Plenty of what-if's that wont be answered until there are plenty of clones, and plenty old enough to tell us plenty about the experience.
