Why are guys hotter than girls?

If you've clicked here expecting some kinda of pervy gay thread, your sex addled brain has misled you again :)

:flame: I'm talking body temperature. Its been -18/-19 here for the last few days, I find once it gets below -1, I can't feel a lot of difference as the temperature drops. Funny thing is, if it was 0 and rose to 18 that feels like a big difference!

Females seem to constantly complain about the cold, even when its only zero. Is this because they just like complaining, or is there a biological reason for it?

Are there any hot females on here that don't feel the cold? :D

I'm so great I'm jelous of myself.
There sure are women who don't feel the cold. It's got nothing to do with the sexes, but with the percentage on fat you have on your body. Actually, only the percentage of fat right below the skin is responsible for feeling hot when it's cold, and of course, but that's obvious, the amount of hair you have on your body. As you may well know, when you feel cold hairs come up, to keep you warm. When women shave their legs, it can't come up and so the body loses it's natural heating system.

So you're calling me a hairy fat bastard?

I believe it has something to do with regulation of your core, which women seem to be better at doing than men due to a somewhat more evenly distributed fat layer and the bodies ability to pull blood back to those core organs which in turn leads to their extremities feeling colder due to less of an influx of blood.

I always wondered why I have to help my g/fs get their cold, cold feet and hands warmed up, I am like a little oven it seems, hands and feet are warm at all times.
