Really this holiday has nothing to do with any other
country, but the U.S.. So if you want to get down to
it there should be only one flag.
Far as the Rebel flag isn't the war still going on?
I was in NC a couple of years ago for a race and ran into
some people and they said the South doesn't celebrate
this day? Just wondering if that is so?
No I understand the point and have great respect for all the
one who have fallen to make this a better place. With a family history in the military and myself I think I know what it's all about.
All I'm saying is this holiday here is about the americans from all the wars that have fallen for the United State. In any of the parades I've marched and stuff it's never been about any other than the men and weman that have fallen for the U.S.
I do think there should be a day for everyone that has fallen for
peace.

Well thanks to everyone for voicing their thoughts and regards to those who have given some, if not all for freedom. We are forever in debt to you and let us never forget those sacrifices you made. Thank you!!!! :hatsoff:
I condemn to the fires of hell those individuals who have desecrated these flags by using them for purposes for which they were not intended. These individuals include members of the KKK and civil rights protesters of the 1960's. My ancestors fought to protect their homes and families from invading armies. Like most Confederate soldiers, they owned no slaves.
