i thought i saw a phone charger with this technology recently advertised. sounds cool, but still too many issues. No one knows what effects the magnetic field produced would have on things, namely people.

This would make my life SO much easier. At work, the people on the lighting crew spend much of their time running miles and miles of stupidly heavy cable to power fixtures. There is already wireless DMX data, and if power becomes wireless as well, I would actually want to be on lights. Tesla would be proud. :thumbsup:

Quite. Just as an example, last night AC/DC took 3 hours to load out. They had lights out the ass for that show. Wireless power and data would've cut the load out time by at least half.
