But she later woke up - in a coffin surrounded by sobbing relatives. She started screaming after realizing she was about to be buried alive.

"I am very angry and want answers. She wasn't dead when they said she was and they could have saved her." Her husband, Fagili Mukhametzyanov said.

Shameful. I hope he cleans them out.

Who cares about Russia? :dunno: No wonder this happened. It happened in a Russian hospital.

Nope - funeral home. And you even italicized 'hospital'.

I've informed the Thought Police of your misinterpretation. They'll be arriving shortly.

I once woke up in a puddle of my own vomit, and was shocked I wasn't dead. Does that count?

I don't know and frankly I don't care.
If this really happened, then I wonder if she was drugged. I'm reminded of the book-turned-film "The Serpent and the Rainbow". It delt with Haitian voodoo and a white powder/dust that, when blown at one's face, would render the person dead, but not dead. The heart stops and all motor functions are temporarily paralyzed, unable to move so much as an eye. The person was assumed dead and so they would be buried alive - only to 'awaken', regaining function, but too late.

However, I wonder something else - Do they not use embalming fluid in Russia? If so, then she would've been dead already.
