Depending on conditions I have heard the cargo sections of some planes can get very cold at high altitude. I don't even know if they stay oxygenated inside them. Mailing something alive can be dangerous because of that not to mention all the other dumb reasons mailing something alive like that is a bad idea. There have even been people that have gotten hurt by trying to sneak themselves onto a plane.
