Hotelicopter: World's First Flying Hotel Sets Maiden Journey For Summer.

The Hotelicopter Company announced today it has created the world's first flying hotel. Housed in the largest helicopter ever produced are 18 luxury guest rooms and even a spa.

The Hotelicopter is modeled after the Soviet-made helicopter Mil V-12. There were only two prototypes of this ever made, and the founders of the company bought one in 2004. The original prototype had its first flight in Russia in 1968 and still holds several flight records, according to a statement from The Hotelicopter Company.

i can tell you all from first hand experience, if you are inside a helicopter with all doors closed, its actually pretty quiet and the steady beat of the airframe will rock you to sleep very quickly if you dont fight it off. cool idea, but i wouldnt trust a helicopter that stays in flight for days on end. just not safe.....

I'm too lazy to set a usertitle.
I'm not sure where the market is for something like that.

Would you hit it?

Similar to that of a cruise ship, I would guess. The ability to bounce around to various high end tourist locations in a similar region without leaving your luxury hotel room. Except that this wouldn't be confined to coastal destinations. Ski at Lake Tahoe for a couple days, go sit at the high rollers table in Vegas for a couple more, and then end the week at an exclusive LA club, all while you travel around with a spa and five star restaurant down the hall. I could see some people with disposable income going for that kind of treatment.

Rich fools and their money are soon.. and easily parted.

Hell, I'm not rich and my money is too easily parted. It's just too easy to justify it. Today I put up with this bastid, yesterday I paid too much on that bill, why cant I get more hours at this job, who wont that girl give up her hole?!

Then you head off to the supermarket/bar/friends house/video game store/brothel/some married lady's house to go spend money you dont really have.
