Worst Actor?

That's funny. I saw the title of the thread "worst actors" and immediately I thought "Keanu Reeves". and then I clicked. He's got the acting range of a piece of drift wood.

Agree 100%. I might as well not even browse this thread any longer.

How can noone mention Arnold Schwarzenegger. Come on, the guy is horrible. He has that awful accent, and his physique limits him to type casting. He is awful when he tries to play a family man or something like that in a movie. Tom Cruise is also bad. I mean in Valkery he is supposed to be a German soldier, could he at least try to half ass a German accent and make his role believable. He is just talking like himself. I don't see his character, just Tom Cruise with an eye patch.

Reeves is pretty bad. It's hard for me to say Pacino's bad, but I do think he takes to many easy rolls. Rolls where he can just lose his temper and yell.
I liked Cruise in "Born on the Fourth Of July" and his "Joe Father" roll in "War of the Worlds." I also heard some reason why Cruise doesn't speak in a German accent in Valkyrie. Actually, I guess none of the actors do? Even the British ones? The point the director was trying to make is that the men that tried to kill Hitler could have just as well been alive in the Bush adminitsration. Or we'll just say...during America's own imperialism. That's what I heard from a coworker.


I don't see how Owen Wilson still gets work. I mean, comedies are OK for him.

Well there are plenty of really shit actors out there, but very few who are actually famous.

Keanu Reeves is pretty terrible, but he is very lucky with the roles he gets because the character fits his robotic blankness. But as bad as he is, I still like him. Strange :dunno:

Damn there were allot of ok actors that got nominated, all of whom have done good work in atleast 1 of their movies!! almost all of them,

But some were mentioned that have zero talent and are indeed terrible actors!!

Exactly what I was thinking and those are great examples of how good he is.To say that Sean Penn is a bad actor is a great statement of ignorance imo.I think the same can be said about Tom Cruise as well.

Sure,you may not like him because he's a nutjob and some of the movies that he's been in may not be very good,but as an artist of his craft,he is a very good thespian.

As for Tome Cruise, he's massively overrated, he's made some good movies but all of those have had better supporting actors
