How could anything have beaten out that 80's classic from Atari.....ET??? Now that game REALLY sucked! I don't know how anyone could blow it, given how popular ET was as a movie......but Atari definitely succeeded! It was so BAD that Atari ended up taking back thousands upon thousands of copies & literally dumped them in a landfill!

I thought some Superman game for N64 was the universal choice.
ET on atari wasnt that bad... funny how there was only 1 "action" button on the atari joystick and when you pressed it, it just made ETs neck stretch out up and down. still doesnt beat out custers for worst game ever (though i would consider 80,000 copies sold at $50 each hardly a failure)

That was one of the first adult video games ever. Never heard of it being the worst, though. ET on the 2600, Superman on the N64, and Charlie's Angels on the GameCube are universally known as being the worst video games of all time.

I never found out who the idiot was at Atari who agreed to play Spielberg $5 for each ET cartridge sold or unsold, but they had to write off 100,000,000 of them!
