If you're implying that STD's are less common in the "pornstar population" than with the general population then I'd suggest you do some research on the topic. As I understand it STD rates are 300-500% higher among pornstars.

A curious analogy considering that the population of Africa is slowing dying from AIDS.

The "impact" of one "whorish pornstar" upon the group as a whole is in fact tremendous, since the amount of sexual activity within the group is several times higher than in any "normal" populaton.... after all, it's what they do for a living.

The recent HIV outbreak in the porn actor population is a perfect example of this - the virus spread rapidly and, in no time, many, many performers were quarantined, with only a small few even having worked with Darren James (who was the only confirmed case at the time). In other words, one "whorish pornstar" (your words, not mine)... can do a great deal of damage, much more damage than they could ever do in the general population.

In the end, the statistics speak for themselves and are rather straightforward in their interpretation:

The STD rates are much higher for pornstars than fore the general population ergo... you have a much higher chance of getting a STD from a pornstar than you do someone who works in a different profession.

I want to say yes but i wonder if pornstars actually like to have sex of the camera. I recently watched that Jenna Jameson confessions show and she said that after a while she didnt even like men, so if a pornstar doesn't want to have sex with you doesn't that defeat the purpose of going out with a pornstar in the first place?

Her having sex for a living doesnt really bother me, and i dont really think the chance of getting an std is any worse with a pornstar than with that chick you hook up with at the club.

For me it would matter most about if she would enjoy having sex with her boyfriend.

Let's say there are two girls at the club. One of them has had sex with 0, 1 or 2 different person(s) in the last month, the other has had sex with 8-10 different people in the last month. Do you still believe the chances of catching a STD is the same for both of them?

I'd say that any girl that hangs out regularly at a club and will have sex with a guy the same night she meets him has more than 0 to 2 partners per month. More like 2 a week which on par with an average pornstar. Also the guys she is with are not getting tested regularly and most likely have just as many partners as she does a month.
