Cena played his role well, but Punk just hit another one out of the park. I suspect this entire storyline is just Vince's attempt to appease the IWC (by mentioning their opinions on TV through Punk), but damn... it is good to hear someone say what we are all thinking. I would have loved it if Punk mentioned how Vince not only released good wrestlers like Cabana and Gallows, but completely passed on the likes of AJ Styles.

CM Punk wins the WWE title and then the MIB bank from either Smackdown or WWE cashes in that same night and wins the title off of CM Punk, then John Cena will still be fired.....I think it will Sin Cara winning the title...

Here is how I see the PPV going down. Vince screws Cena and after the match it is revealed that Punk has already signed a new contract. The Money In The Bank winner cashes in his title shot. A "fired" John Cena comes through the crowd to cost Punk the title. The PPV ends with Cena being escorted from the building. Blah, blah, blah. SummerSlam ends up being a triple threat match for the strap.

Cena can only be fired if Punk leaves champion, not simply wins.
