Yay, I got the job!

Last monday was my job interview @ the shipyard I told about and I got the job :nanner: They said I'm exactly the right age because they want to freshen up the office section @ the yard. I'm starting monday 16 so I have a short vacation wich is very nice. I'm so happy I found something so quickly because sitting @ home for a long period of time drives me crazy. I'm also going to earn 150 euro's more per month

It's not like that at all. I'm taking the position of someone who's retiring next week. There are also 4 people @ the office who are in their 40's, 2 who are in their 30's and one who 4 years older than me. They just want to youthen the office up a bit and hire someone with a fresh new perspective on things. Nothing wrong with that.

No, but the discrimination among employers is just as bad here. Both with age AND women in their child bearing years.
