I've been rigging for the past few years, and have been studying the actual math and physics that go with the subject. I've found studying about forces and reactions on a point, how weight distribution affects a system, and shock load tests to be fascinating.

I wanted to be a paleontologist when I was a kid. Dinosaurs are sic.

I think every kid did. Remember the Dinosaucers? That was my favorite cartoon for a while.

All that is needed to get you hooked on entomology is a 10 - 12x loupe and any clear container... observe.

You know what's REALLY interesting? Watching an ant colony on the rampage. One time I went out into the yard and saw a yellowjacket fighting with a few ants. I did what I went outside to do, and, when I came back, about half an hour later, the ants had completely overrun the yellowjacket, which was now staggering around with ants crawling all over it. Within 15 minutes the ants were carrying it back to their nest. THAT was entertaining.

Also, have you ever caught a fly and put it in a spider web? That's good times. :thumbsup:

Hey guys, I fear to be almost ignored but you answer me in large bunches. However almost invariantly you mentioned natural sciences, i could remember chemistry, botany, geology... Exactly what I expected, I had read that you americans are top notch in this fields while we italians are excellent in the humanities. I'm relatively adept in sociology, economics and linguistics. Anyone is interessed in this fields?

Please don't let die this thread, it's so novel! My best skills are in linguistics, for example if you mention me a german or dutch lemma I could say the exact etymology in 99 cases out of 100? I'm not kidding at all, in english I'm less adept because of the heavier word borrowing. And you?
