The XBIZ Awards will take place on January 15, 2015 in LA and be hosted by James Deen. After that, the AVN Awards will take place on January 24, 2015 at the Hard Rock Hotel and be hosted by Alexis Texas and Tommy Pistol.

What is the "Crossover Star of the Year" category about?

Thought this term was mostly used for gay men who also do women for money. But no matter how I look, I don't think Nikki Benz is a man... :eek:

I don't really keep up much with these kind of competitions...

Is this category meant to somehow exclude lesbian only women out from the variations? Does this category mix both crossover men and women? Or perhaps some kind of gender transformation from male to female crossover thing? Or does this have something to do with girl also offering "private" services besides doing porn movies?
