Now, before the most vocal of you that hate paying for ANYTHING comes stomping in here to complain, let me put up a few FAQs...

Why Premium? Don't worry, FreeOnes will stay free for those that don't care about the perks. And of course in the not so distant future when we re-introduce FreeOnes credits, you'll be able to purchase premium without spending a penny with your earned credits. However, for those that don't want to wait to earn the points, or want to support FreeOnes, we'd like to get to the perks just a little faster.

You said credits are coming back? WHEN? Soon ™️ On a serious note, for those that are upset that Premium came before Credits, there is a reason for this. The credits touch literally everything on the site while Premium doesn't. However, we haven't been ignoring the credits, promise. Since we switched to the new site we've been laying the ground work for a robust system that will allow us to do a lot of neat things and is future proof.

Why $3.00? Why not $1.00? In the world of credit card billing there is such thing as a minimum purchase. For our biller, $3.00 is the number. If we are able to drop the price in the future with another biller, we will!

Will you offer other payment choices? The sooner you guys rush out to get a premium account, the sooner I'll be allowed to go out and get more payment options. ;-) Including the option to pay by Paypal.

FreeOnes Silver. Will there be a Gold package? We'd like to introduce a gold and platinum package as well! Ideas about things that could be included in the upgraded packages is access to premium content and/or content channels, more say in future features, access to free live shows, exclusive member only discounts/samples, etc.

Why is downloading videos no longer free?! This feature was never meant to be free. On the old site, you had to spend credits to use it. While we worked on getting a system up and running to put it back behind some sort of pay wall, you guys were really lucky and got to use it for free for awhile. BUT... in a month or two we should have the ability to add downloading photo sets as well!

This is something that we are working on, it's proved to be a bigger task than anticipated. But we haven't forgotten about them and work is ongoing, same goes for purchased content.

Having an annual, bi-annual, and/or quarterly payment is absolutely on the books. This initial launch is to see what people do before programming more things. If nobody signs up, then we certainly don't need to spend time putting in more payment options... both in sub time and sourcing more ways to pay (like using Paypal.. especially since we can't use them directly).

Credits from the old site are snug as a bug in the database. So when we're finally able to online user credits again, anything you had before will be credited to your account.

What's this Discord thing? Last year I set up a FreeOnes Discord Server and some people joined it, however, I didn't do a whole lot with it. When we started talking about FreeOnes Premium, I thought having a Premium discord channel might be a great perk! Especially if we get OCSMs to join! If we get enough people to pick up a premium account, we'll do live cam shows, contests and more to give it lots of value! Maybe even get producers and site owners in there to talk to you and let you bounce ideas off of.

As of right now this is only the main site side.

We think we might have a way to bring all of the themes over here as well BUT it quadruples the work we have to do on the board every single time we need to update it (i.e. every custom template needs to be re-applied manually -- it was the same for vBulletin, freaking sucks). At this point, we'd have to see a lot of regular board users splash out for premium to make it worth the work.

And I assume the deep seas theme fix you're talking about is the white out on the text box. We do have it in the pipeline to be fixed within the next 2 weeks.

Please one thing to consider that some (hopefully many) of your subscribers, do not live in the USA or western countries so access to credit cards or international wiring of funds is restricted at best, controlled by capital control or PayPal is banned. Do not make accessing the boards linked to such things.

Nothing will change with the board. Just like always, you can view the board if you're logged out and you need a free account to post. So all the functionality that you have right now, at this moment, will always be included in the free membership.

Right now the ONLY thing tied to the board that would be put behind premium is the additional color themes. We'd need a lot of board members to get premium and request it before we'd consider opening that can of worms (theming is NOT easy with any forum since there's several templates that need to be done per theme, and they ALL need updating every time the board upgrades -- pain in the ass).

So please don't worry. Not happening on my watch.
