I was in a work meeting about out building's facilities, and said that one of our rooms was "starting look a little ghetto" with the peeling paint on the walls and stained ceiling tiles.
Someone (a white person) told me that was racist and inappropriate.

Obviously some one who did not finish reading the definition before speaking.

The irony is that this same person was in the same training class with me where the trainer was talking about "Oriental women with thick accents", and found nothing wrong with that comment. You can't pick & choose when you want to be "woke".

According to the survey, just under 60% of the 1,000 managers who said the generation is difficult to work with said they have had to fire at least one Gen Z employee. About 20% of these managers said they have fired a Gen Z worker in their first week of work and 27% within their first month.

The managers cited a variety of reasons for their disinterest in working with Gen Z, ranging from a lack of effort and productivity to how they believe young workers are easily offended.

Maybe if they weren't so determined to hijack meetings because someone used the wrong pronouns, and actually used that time to contribute, this wouldn't be a problem.
It will be interesting to see what happens when those snowflakes are at the top and have to deal with all this.
