Is Smart 4k monitor worth it?

Yes, I bribed and cheated to get this far
I am thinking of getting a new tv for my bedroom as my current one is getting pixelated, ie getting a big line across the bottom of my screen.

While looking for a replacement, one has took my eye, only difference is that it's a smart 4k monitor as there no ariel on the back so you won't get traditional tv, however these days as most watch tv through apps and can watch live tv through it, thought it might not be too much of a issue.

To get a nice decent 4k tv means got to pay more money, but will be too big for a bedroom unless i get a tv bracket to put on the wall which living in a rented property, landlords tend to frown against that.

So just thinking whats's your thoughts? i have a laptop anyways so don't really need it for my computing needs.

If i want to get freeview channels, i can always buy a freeview box and use it's connection on the back of the monitor

I smell PUSSY!
*I* am always leery of limiting my options in the future. So, I would get a TV with ALL the traditional inputs.

Even with a laptop, I like the option of having a monitor that connects to a PC/laptop. While HDMI is good, I find that DisplayPort is better for this, so I like to go with "monitors" over "TV"s. Many TVs don't have DisplayPort, including the one you posted, so that may be a consideration.

Also, if you are ever considering gaming (i.e. PS5, etc), this doesn't seem to have features such as V-Sync. I don't know what "HDR game mode" is, but I don't think this can handle current gen gaming.

Don't really game anymore. It's sorely for just watching tv.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
It depends. Is it important to you to be able to count every shaving bump on a porn stars twat, or zit on her ass?
